Updated V XVI MMIX. Welcome to the electronic home of The Unincorporated Deuteronomical Society ("the Society"), hosted graciously by Electric See. The Society is a body politic under and in Jesus Christ whom we recognize as our only Lord, Lawgiver and Saviour. Our first High Court of Parliament was held during the two thousand and ninth year of our Salvation in the Law Building of The University of British Columbia, that University's motto being TUUM EST, that is, "it is yours." Advance notice of the hearing was given, to the following:
Officers of Elizabeth II, Queen, take notice and govern yourselves accordingly: Our Society's Members are not subject to public policy. We have our own "rei publicae", as it were, and we are fully capable of deliberating and acting by ourselves and for ourselves, and we abhor all interference therewith. To any officer of the Crown, from Queen on down to dog catcher, note bene: "Insofar as The Crown does justice it is the vicar of the Eternal King but the devil's minister when it deviates into injustice, for the King is called REX and the Queen called REGINA not from reigning but from ruling well, since one is a king or a queen as long as one rules well but a tyrant when one oppresses by violent domination the people entrusted to one's own care." (Bracton, vol. II p. XIX, updated to include rex and regina). Our Motto is VERBUM DEI LIBERORUM REX. On the belt of Law Society of British Columbia, their motto is LEX LIBERORUM REX, which they translate as "Law is the Ruler of Free People." Which Law? The Law of God? The Law of The Incorporated Law Society of British Columbia? The Law Merchant? Our motto clarifies this issue by substituting VERBUM DEI, that is, "The Word of God", for LEX, thus making our motto "The Word of God is the Ruler of the Free."
